Linocuts are a form of printmaking using linoleum sheets as a relief surface. This form of printing creates a stamp that can be reused.
This class will focus on transferring images of your pet, cutting linoleum, and printing by hand techniques. We will discuss color mixing, printing on paper, and printing on fabric. You will also be sent a list of links so you can purchase inks after the class to reuse you stamp.
The class will have light snacks. The studio always has wine and champagne for free but if you would like other drinks, please bring your own. Wine will not be allowed until the second half of the class after we are done using sharp carving tools.
Class is from 1pm-4pm at 413 Spears Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37405.
Ink will stain clothes, so wear something you do not mind getting dirty.
Must be 21+ to participate.
