In this 2+ hour long class you will learn to make your very own needle felted pouch. Needle felting is a creative craft that involves sculpting shapes and figures using wool and special felting needles. This process involves stabbing wool with a special needle. As you repeatedly stab and turn the wool, the needle pulls more wool into itself, and the fibers interlock into felt. With continued stabbing and turning you will form a shape.
The studio always has wine and champagne for free but if you would like other drinks, please bring your own.

11/30/24 Needle Felting Workshop: Make Your Own Toadstool Ornament

This event coincides with our Holiday Open House. There will be a pop up from Brazier Moon, sales, treats, a free raffle, and of course champagne along with several DIY workshops to create your perfect gift.
In this one hour long class you will learn to make your very own needle felted ornament. Known in German as glücklicher pilz or gluckspilz (which literally means “lucky mushroom”), the red-and-white speckled fungi grow deep in the forest. Its real name is Amanita muscaria or fly agaric, and finding one is thought to be a sign of good luck, similar to the way the Irish view four-leaf clovers. That’s because the roots of this specific mushroom can only grow in the root zones of certain types of trees, which happen to be those we generally think of as Christmas trees. It has been a German tradition for centuries to decorate the pine trees with these dried mushrooms.

Holiday Open House
Join us for our annual open house! To celebrate small business Saturday, Cluster Funk Studio will have a holiday themed tent sale. We will have treats, drinks, sales, free DIY stations, a free raffle, our famous custom shirt station, a ticketed needle felted ornament workshop, and more. Brazier Moon will be joining us for a pop up bringing beautiful copper jewelry and wall art.
We will have snacks and drinks as normal. In the parking lot we will have a tent sale off all previous styles as well as bargain bin items. We are bringing back the popular make your own shirt, tote, or hat station where you can choose any of our designs to make your own custom piece. There will also be some free activities such as button making. The store front will also be having exclusive sales as well as snacks and mimosas so join us inside. Please park on Bush Street or Spears Ave to allow room for vendors and tents in the parking lot. Can’t wait to see you there!

Pilgrimage music programming has grown in its first 8 years to 6 stages, 60+ musicians in a city many call home. It serves great value and advantage to Pilgrimage that so many talented musicians and industry folks live in such close proximity. Pilgrimage always has surprises on stage that include guest appearances, acoustic performances, and unique pairings. Pilgrimage freely mixes genres and musical styles to create an intentionally diverse music experience throughout the day so you can see all of your favorites and discover new ones.

Now in its sixth year, the Americana Music Triangle Experience is a dedicated space where attendees can immerse themselves in world-famous music landmarks, tucked away hamlets and one-of-a-kind stops along the Gold Record Road. We hope to inspire fans to plan road trips of their own to visit each of these partner cities.

Farm to Turntable is our food truck park which includes your favorite food trucks, picnic tables, shaded areas, seating, active kitchens and spirit activations. This new element was introduced at the 2017 Pilgrimage Festival.
