Our first open studio/class in the new space!
Cyanotype is an alternative photographic printing process. It uses two chemicals that when dry create a light sensitive surface. The prints will end up being a beautiful blue color, hence the name CYANotype. Bring in photographs and/or objects you want to use to create your design. We will use the sun to expose the designs, leaving an imprint of your objects or image. Any photograph must be sent to Brooke@clusterfunkstudio.com before the class. I have to print them as a negative on transparency film so please plan ahead.
In this two-hour class, you will learn to make your very own cyanotype shirts or totes. The shirts and totes are included in the class fee.
The class will have light snacks. The studio always has wine and champagne for free but if you would like other drinks, please bring your own. Must be 21+ to participate.
